Taha Golkarzadeh was born in 1986 in Kurdistan, Iran. He started to play the daf in 1999 under the guidance of Master Bijan Kamkar. Taha started his professional career as a percussionist in 2002. Since 2006, he has also been teaching daf at the Gol Cultural and Artistic Institute and the Naghmeh Music Academy, sharing his passion with aspiring students.

Over the years, he has collaborated with several music ensembles, including Chehel Daf Group, Kimia Music Group, Enjaz Ensemble, Mahfam Ensemble, Avaye Seda, and Avaye Kereshmeh.

Taha has performed in concerts across various countries, such as Iran, UAE (Dubai), Uzbekistan, Sweden, Finland, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

In addition to the daf, Taha is also a skilled player of the tombak and tar.
