I was born in Korea and started playing piano at the age of seven.

I hold a Master degree and Bachelor degree of Music in piano from Korea. I gave private piano lessons to students in music schools and years later I worked as a director of a self-owned private music school in Korea giving individual piano lessons and helping students to participate in a local competition in Korea. I was also a main accompanist in a church accompanying the service and choir.

I moved to Canada in 2018 permanently and I joined Ava music school at the same year as a piano instructor. I love working with aspiring music teachers, staff and students in Ava music school and I’m glad to share my classical skill to customize technique for students of different ages, skill and level. I like grocery shopping, cooking, watching movies and catching up with friends. I always appreciate seeing heritage buildings and museums. I imagine myself in New York one day to explore an abundance of museums and cultural institutions.
