Timothy Charman
Tim Charman is a Canadian musician. Originally from Vancouver, Tim currently divides his time between the Canadian west coast and Montréal when not on tour. He has been involved in numerous musical projects covering a wide variety of styles and mediums. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Concordia University in Montréal, where he studied both jazz and classical theory and performance.
The majority of Tim’s career has been in the performance/recording realm. He has extensive live performance experience across Canada and the United States as well as in Colombia and New Zealand, performing with artists such as Lauren Mann, Ben Mink, Adam Dobres, Naghmeh and the Southern Shores, We Once Were Trees and Subtle Like a T-Rex. An electric bassist first and foremost, Tim also performs and records regularly on guitar, mandolin, piano, drums/percussion and voice.
In addition to an active performance schedule, Tim is also a songwriter who writes guitar driven Indie-folk music with lyrics that reflect on travel, relationships and motion. He released two EPs of original music in the Spring of 2019. You can find his music on all major streaming platforms.
