Piano Lessons

Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. offers piano classes for students of all ages, levels and backgrounds. Whether you are a beginner, a recent graduate of our
Orff & Kodaly program, a parent who wants to learn more about music, or a professional in need of a second opinion, our certified instructors will do
everything in their power to ensure that you get the most out of your music lessons. We cover everything from classical music to jazz, pop, improv and more, so you will have plenty of genres to explore as a performer if that is what you wish to do! 

At Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd., we recognize that strong pianists come from a well-rounded backgrounds. That is why our well-educated,
professional and talented piano instructors ensure that our students receive extensive education in the following areas:

  • Note recognition and comprehension
  • Rhythm
  • Technique (drills, scales, arpeggios and more)
  • Dynamics & phrasing
  • Sight reading
  • Theory & History training
  • Memorization
  • Ear Training
  • Ensemble playing (via duets and group performances)

Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. is also known for its emphasis on musicality. We believe in not only developing excellent technique, but great entertainers.

For students who are interested in a more social learning experience, we offer Semi-Private lessons.
We are also the only music schools that offers group MusIQ Club lessons for beginners in all of B.C. excluding Victoria.
Piano Tuning Services are also available at Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd. by Mr. Fred Safaei.   


How to register for piano lessons?

 

  • If you are interested in registering for regular lessons for the entire term, please click the registration form here.   When we have received your data, we will create log-in information for you as student, which you could use this link to login as student and see your calendar,  pay your invoices and more. 
  • If you are interested in 1 to 4 trial lessons select one of the options below that suits you the best and purchase your trial lessons online.
  • If you are looking to register for a term/semester of lesson please register at the front desk. Thanks
